About Pranamaya

India receives many foreigner students every year to train for yoga teacher trainings. In the beginning it can be challenging for most foreigner students coming to India. We understand that there is a cultural difference and that is why we want to make the transition of coming here as smooth as possible. We value Indian traditions but also understand that it can be a challenge for those who decide to come here.

By being in the business for 3 years now we have come to understand that the best way to immerse yourself in the culture without losing your mind is through support, guidance, and connections. We pride ourselves in making a real connection with every person who comes to us to train. This has taught us to do things differently than most yoga schools in India. We value your time and are grateful for every single person we have encountered until now because they have also made Pranamaya what it is today.

OUR TEACHERS

Avinash Sharma

School Director( ERYT-500)

Avinash is the school director and our lead trainer. He is a yoga alliance certified ERYT-500 trainer. His yoga journey started 7 years ago and he has been teaching yoga for 4 years now. He is trained in hatha yoga and inspires his students to follow the path of yoga for a lifelong transformation of the self. He has been teaching students from Europe, Canada, United States and South America. His teaching style and communication skills reflect his experience with students from around the world.

He was born in Patna, Bihar. He has lived a corporate life before joining the world of yoga. So, call him an urban yogi who can answer the dilemmas of those who aspire to change their lives through yoga.

Manisha Kherb

Yoga Trainer( ERYT-200)

Manisha has been a passionate yoga practitioner for the past 5 years and completed her training under a renowned lineage of Hatha Yoga in Delhi, India. She is trained in Yoga Nidra and focusses on all limbs of yoga placing importance on Pranamaya, philosophy and meditation. Her love for yoga is not only present in her teaching style but also in the way she interacts with students.

She embraced all the teachings of yoga and she shares that love with the world through yoga philosophy. She is always on a mission to empower people in the softest and kindest way.

Ankit Priyadarshi

Yoga Trainer( RYT-200)

Ankit Priyadarshi is a hatha yoga trainer with a teaching experience in yoga teacher training for past one year with pranamaya school of yoga. His style of teaching very adaptable to students and he makes it very simple for students to learn from him. We are proud to have him on our team.

Aruna Dehaloo

Yoga Trainer( RYT-200)

Founder and principal at Aruna Dehaloo School of ballet, affiliated to the royal academy of dance London, with 15 years experience in teaching dance and fitness in both South Africa and India, Trained professionally and certified in Ballet, kathak, Jive, cha cha , rumba, samba , contemporary, hip hop, floor barre , salsa and yoga.

Yoga Trainer( RYT-200)

I have been training in Hatha Yoga for over 5 years now and I have got certified as a Yoga trainer from Pranayama School of Yoga itself, in March 2020. I now train students at all levels. Having an interest in acrobatics and building strength I had tried different forms of training my body, but found that Yoga not only made the body flexible and strong but also calmed the mind and enlightened the soul to a whole new relaxed world. Yoga is so much more than just the poses, it’s about You, the whole YOU. Prior to this I have had the opportunity to travel the world as I was a Cabin Crew with Singapore Airlines for about 4 years. This allowed me to experience a number of cultures and meet people from all corners of the planet. I am from Delhi but have lived in the United Arab Emirates for the initial 17 years of my life.
